Illustration of a CTb injection site in the rat LC (RLC15, 180x350µm). Note that this site was localized in the caudal LC and did not substantially appear to involve the lamina and the periaqueductal gray medial to the LC. The MVe region lateral to the LC did not appear to be involved.
