A-D: photomicrographs of 50 µm thick vibratome sections in a cat with a 0.2 µl pressure injection of CTb in the rostral part of the inferior olivary complex and 48 h of survival including 24 h of colchicine treatment (case F111). Note the very extensive labeling of the dendritic trees and the well preserved morphology of the retrogradely labeled cells found in the interstitial nucleus of Cajal (A), the posterior pretectal nucleus (B and C) and the medial preoptic area (D).
